Suzuki and traditional flute Instruction
Schuller Flute Studio
"Every Child Can Learn"
Shinichi Suzuki, Suzuki Method founder.
hello!
Playing and studying the flute is a wonderful experience with lots of opportunities for musical expression, fun and enjoyment that can last a lifetime! My home studio in Alexandria, Virginia, has openings for beginning and intermediate flutists ages four through adult. Lessons focus on student needs and the studio promotes learning the flute in a supportive and non-competitive atmosphere.
I use the highly respected Suzuki teaching approach and instructional books. Parents receive ongoing information on how to share and support their child's interest in the flute. Suzuki instruction is available for students ages 4 and up. I also offer traditional flute instruction using repertoire and method books from the Blocki beginning flute method and standard flute literature for students ages 8 and up.
Please feel free to contact me with any questions or to request additional information. I look forward to discussing your, or your child's, interest in learning the flute and what method of study is best for you or your child.
Heidi Schuller, Registered Suzuki Flute Instructor.

Parents play an important role in helping their child during home practice sessions. Suzuki teachers give ongoing information to help parents with the home practice and understanding the lesson assignments.
